Ah if repiar doesnt fix it over and over i would say the only option is reinstall. You may try verify and then reboot and then verify again, but thats a shot in the dark really, only worth a shot to avoid reinstall.oh you could try to use the create backup feature within steam and then remove the game from library and then restore from backup, this may solve the problem if it is just a installation issue and not a corrupt downloaded file. If something is corrupt it will prob be so in the backup also and then yes you would need to redownload.
